Professional
I obtained my Juris Doctor degree in 2021 from William & Mary Law School. Since November 2021, I have worked at XREX, a blockchain-based fintech, where I look after legal affairs and government engagement, and support the head of compliance in implementing financial crime compliance programs to mitigate related operational risks.
The potential impact of Web3 and blockchain technology on the financial system is transformative and paradigm-shifting. My main focus is stablecoins, central bank digital currency, and payment systems. You can find more information by subscribing to my weekly Brief, or contact me if you have any thoughts.
Learning & Interesting stuff I am going to do:
I'm writing a newsletter/blog at Substack——Welcome to Polymath Playground.
My current Reading List: Risk Savvy: How to Make Good Decisions, Germany: Memories of a Nation, How Not to Be Wrong: The Power of Mathematical Thinking, 羅馬人的故事, and Mastering Blockchain.
Decentralized finance is coming, so I am learning smart contracts this year to see if there are any opportunities from the synthesis and application of legal and smart contracts. For more information, see What are Smart Contracts and Why do they Matter?
Launching my monthly podcast, 人、法人、法律人, which covers everything from humanity to law.
Get a boating license.
